Serving modern dishes and award winning food, Stoke Mill offers an outstanding dining experience set in a beautifully restored Mill on the River Tas. Whether you want to experience our Taster Menu or sample our Wine Pairings, or indeed, try our A La Carte and Sunday Lunch Menu’s, you are sure to be treated to a warm, knowledgeable service and the finest in cuisine.

Steeped in history, the Mill was used by the Colman’s in 1814 who started milling and making mustard here – the birth of Colman’s Mustard. In 2013 Ludo and Andy Rudd, our award winning chef and co-owner, restored Stoke Mill to what is now a bustling, relaxed and airy dining room. The Menu often changes as Andy gets new inspiration for new dishes providing our customers the best ‘in season’ fresh ingredients and locally sourced organic produce.

As we are a listed building, little change has been made, and the décor is very traditional. Water still courses through and can be viewed from a window inside, giving you the opportunity to imagine how it was as a working mill. We can accommodate up to 64 people for parties and gatherings, and also for Weddings.

Listed in the Michelin Guide, and now holding 1 Star for STORE, we hope to welcome you soon and experience Stoke Mill and our new STORE for yourself and enjoy all the little extras that make us a fine dining culinary destination here at Stoke Holy Cross, just south of Norwich.

Stoke Mill, nestled on the River Tas, might be steeped in some 700 years of history,
but step inside and this is very much a modern fine dining experience.
